Living with Depression
A few thoughts I had on how the Restoration of the Gospel can lead us more intimately to the Savior.
Book of Mormon Rules of Engagement in Warfare
This is so applicable in my life as I go about my day at work, home, in the neighborhood, and community in which I live. I find that life is better lived when I don't try to provoke or "give the first offense". I don't seek conflict anyways, but if I find myself in a wrestle with another, this principle has taught me how to maintain God's blessing.
How to access Priesthood power
I have been anxious ever since I found a regular pattern of general conference talks on the priesthood and how to access its power. Really the "how to's" come from studying the relevant sections in the Doctrine and Covenants and being taught by the Savior himself. But I like the subtle guidance given by leaders of the church because I have a thick skull. If I live my life more regularly on the Lord's terms the learning may come easier.
His amazing grace is sufficient
Introduction
It's been a while since I have put any information out in a blog but this is another attempt. My motivations, purpose, and life have all relatively changed over the last 11 years since I first started on here and I am making an effort now to explain my beliefs and my testimony of the Ongoing Restoration. President Russell M. Nelson who is currently the prophet of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints has extended an invitation countless times to share the message of the restoration and I am putting my faith to action by putting this blog together. I have seen some amazing content in the form of youtube videos and blogs. I will do my best to make the content worth the read. It mearely is my perspective on the restoration of the gospel which continues today and how I have progressed in my life because of it and the Savior who's gospel it is.
